Lorenzen Lane The Ocean View Home- Custom Home Build
Lantzville Custom Home Build, Lorenzen Lane the Ocean View Home.
We had done custom cabinets threw out the main house which were supplied and installed by Concept Kitchen and Design which we were very impressed with. The island had a really nice touch with the back of it with 10″ deep cabinets to put the cook books and the elusive junk drawer stuff. The Bath tile and Kitchen tile was completed by BE Tile great guys to work with.
The upstairs fire was a electric insert that had a fan hooked up to it, that had ducting near the face of the wood stove downstairs which allowed for the really beautiful warm heat of a wood stove to be brought up from the basement. Making for a really clean environment upstairs because if you have had a wood stove you know it is always a area that needs a little TLC. The upstairs fire place was finished with K2 Stone and was done by Shamrock Tile and Stone these guys know what there doing and had a cedar live edge mantel.
The bedrooms where large and spacious. The master bedroom had 2 large closets and a en-suite bathroom with a 109″ tub shower comb which is a great way to make great use of a bathroom making it large and inviting. The other finished bedroom upstairs had a nice little reading area right in front of the window, you could sit up on the window ledge and have a little more space to enjoy.
We started with this property as bare land with trees and shrubs.
There were a lot of obstacles on this job which took a little head scratching. From clearing the trees to breaking out for the septic, drilling for the well and rock breaking for the foundation . We were able to achieve Basement and Main floor ocean views which is not a easy feat.
Bonus Room In Law Suite
There was a shop any man or woman could call home with a bonus room above which was used as a in law suite. The basement was left unfinished as owners where down sizing and had seen potential for the future in resale value with having the extra floor.
